Each year, the alumni from previous Charlotte Hornets' Honeybees and Bobcats' Lady Cats dancers are invited back to perform during one of the games with the current Honeybee dancers. This year we were able to do the halftime show, and it was amazing! The dance was based around different movies of the 90's: Clueless, Pulp Fiction, Men in Black, and Wayne's World. We had an intensive 2-night rehearsal learning choreography on Wednesday/Thursday, and ended the week with an all-star performance on Friday. I loved getting to dance alongside such talented women, and getting to reunite and catch up with some of my former teammates. See below for the video of our halftime performance and some behind the scenes photos!

My baby girl even came to support her mama! I'm so lucky!
Future Honeybee in the making :)
I am really proud of all the girls involved! They did an amazing job. I am also super thankful to my former coach, Brandii, and everyone at the Hornets organization who allow us alumni to come back and perform. It really means so much. It was such a great time in my life, and I honestly wouldn't be where I am today without the team. I have made wonderful memories there that I will cherish forever. So it means the world to me that they would have me back, even if it is just for a night. :)
