What I Wore: Vegas

Nigel Kinrade, Nigel Kinrade Photography

Well, it's not every day that you find one of the best items in your closet from Goodwill! Yeah you heard me right, the red and white rose skirt pictured above is from GOODWILL! Originally the tag says Forever 21, but still, it's a find! And a good one at that! Lisa, Denny's sister, found it for me, and I absolutely love it! She has done that a couple times for me actually, and every time, I fall in love. Each piece usually becomes a staple in my closet. I love to thrift shop. I get so excited when I can find something and give it new life and purpose! This skirt especially. Speaking of thrifting, do you all use Poshmark? I have just heard about it, and am going to be reselling some of my pieces from my closet soon! To see details on the rest of my outfit from Vegas, see below:

1. Patterned Bell Skirt. Ok so this isn't the exact same one I wore, but I love this pattern! If you can't find a Goodwill knock off like mine, might as well get one you love! The bell shape is flattering on any woman. This one from Page 6 Boutique is a steal!  - $42

2. Chambray Top. The best top you can own is a denim top. I have at least three of these in varying colors. They are so versatile and you can pair them with anything to give your outfit a more casual feel. This one is on sale too. - $40

3. Brown Sandal. A wedge sandal is a great shoe to have in general. Totally versatile, and you will wear them for years!  - $78

4. Silver Necklace. This necklace is perfect for dressing up the most simplest outfits. A higher price point than the other items, but overall, it's a good investment piece you can wear all year long. - $89

5. Turquoise Studs. These beautiful blue baubles from Erin McDermott are a great go-to accessory. Turquoise is one of those colors that will never go out of style. And its the perfect shade to off set the red in the skirt. - $50
