Hall of Fame: Super Shiny Hair

Everybody wants it, but not everyone has it.. super shiny hair! Well if you are anything like me, and you color your hair almost every time you go to the salon, you don't have anything close to a healthy mane and need "product help" to help you achieve the gorgeous locks the Kardashians look like they were born with. Well I have just the products to help you achieve that perfect sheen! See below to see what I use on my hair, to make it shine!

1. Neutrogena Anti-Residue Shampoo - Someone told me about this shampoo a couple years ago, and after using it once, I was hooked!! This is the best shampoo hands down on the planet. It takes all that crud and crap out that you put in your hair to style it during the week, and makes it shine like new! Every time I use it, I always get compliments on how "healthy" (cough, cough) my hair looks. And it's true, it really has transformed my hair. I recommend using it once or twice a week in conjunction with your regular shampoo. You don't have to use much, and for the price point, it can't be beat! - $5

2. WEN - If you stay up late like me, and watch infomercials to fall asleep, you probably have seen WEN on TV. After watching the 30 minute seminar on this miracle cleansing conditioner, I had to order it. Now they say you should use cold water to rinse, and you can definitely use this to shampoo your overall head, but I don't. Just because my hair is naturally oily; I only use this stuff as my conditioner, and on the ends of my hair solely. So if you have dry, damaged, or naturally frizzy hair; this stuff works great for all over! I have seen some transformations, and the results are spectacular! But warning, if you sign up, they ship you regularly monthly shipments, and it's one of those things that builds up in your house if you don't use it. But if you like that sort of thing, go for it! It's worth the try! - $29/kit

3. The "Wet" Brush - My hairstylist Andrea introduced me to this brush, and I have to say it is my favorite brush of ALL time! You can use it on either wet or dry hair, and it leaves your hair silky and smooth! I was interested in getting one of those expensive Mason Pierson brushes, but couldn't wrap my head around spending that much on a hair brush. If I had to guess this is probably the next best alternative. The bristles are very mendable, and don't pull or tug on your hair. Which in turn doesn't damage or yank out the hair you have. I love to use this after I style my hair with hairspray, and need to smooth it out a bit to give it a more natural look and feel. When Denny started growing his hair out, he needed to style it, so he would always steal my brush! So I got him one for himself, and he loves it too! They come in multiple colors, and are great for detangling children's hair as well! I promise you will not be disappointed! - $14

4. "It's a 10" Miracle Leave-In Conditioner - This little miracle bottle, it's truly what it says. It's a 10!! It has 10 benefits to keep hair shiny and healthy. After I get out of the shower, I spray this all over my hair, and brush with the "Wet" brush pictured above. You can dry your hair as usual, or if you have time let it air dry. Then style as usual. If you have naturally oily hair like me, I would avoid spraying at the roots. - $14
