I don't know about y'all, but I hate washing my hair. Not only do I hate it.. I loathe it. It takes me way to long to wash it, dry it, and then I have to style it. Ain't nobody got time for that!!! If you watch YouTube, you know what I mean. Anyways.. It just takes me too darn long, and with a 9-month old running my house a muck, I am lucky to even bathe my body. That's where the magic of dry shampoo comes in. It literally is a new mom's best friend. Or if you have naturally oily hair like myself, it will be your new best friend too.
I have tried many many kinds of dry shampoo, and there are only a few handful that I would recommend. I buy these by the canisters, literally. It is something I have at home, in my purse, and I even bought three earlier today for the motorhome; that's seriously how much I use this stuff. It's great for in between washes, when you can't/don't have time to wash your hair. Even if I do have time, my hair holds style way better when dirty, so I just spray this stuff at the roots, loosen it with my fingers, and touch up with a curling iron. And voila! Instant gorge!
Here are my top 3 brands:
1. Pssssst! - Literally say it like it sounds. This stuff is great. I believe it is the original dry shampoo of all dry shampoos. Very inexpensive as well. - $3
2. Batiste - This stuff used to only be at Sally's and in a much smaller can, but now you can find it almost any where and I believe the price tag is cheaper as well. It also comes in different scents and 'colors'. So whether you are a blonde or a brunette you are covered, literally, roots and all :) Not only great for in between washes, but in between visits to the hair salon as well. - $8
3. Victoria's Secret So Sexy - I was skeptical of this dry shampoo only because I think bra companies should stick to making bras, but I was surprisingly wrong. It actually works pretty good. It has a little bit of hair spray added to it, so I feel like a VS Supermodel after using it. Okay I said "feel" not "look" like one, you get the idea. A little pricier, but lasts awhile, aka it's worth it. - $14
