Hall of Fame: Dry Shampoo

I don't know about y'all, but I hate washing my hair. Not only do I hate it.. I loathe it. It takes me way to long to wash it, dry it, and then I have to style it. Ain't nobody got time for that!!! If you watch YouTube, you know what I mean. Anyways.. It just takes me too darn long, and with a 9-month old running my house a muck, I am lucky to even bathe my body. That's where the magic of dry shampoo comes in. It literally is a new mom's best friend. Or if you have naturally oily hair like myself, it will be your new best friend too.

I have tried many many kinds of dry shampoo, and there are only a few handful that I would recommend. I buy these by the canisters, literally. It is something I have at home, in my purse, and I even bought three earlier today for the motorhome; that's seriously how much I use this stuff. It's great for in between washes, when you can't/don't have time to wash your hair. Even if I do have time, my hair holds style way better when dirty, so I just spray this stuff at the roots, loosen it with my fingers, and touch up with a curling iron. And voila! Instant gorge!

Here are my top 3 brands:

1. Pssssst! - Literally say it like it sounds. This stuff is great. I believe it is the original dry shampoo of all dry shampoos. Very inexpensive as well. - $3

2. Batiste - This stuff used to only be at Sally's and in a much smaller can, but now you can find it almost any where and I believe the price tag is cheaper as well. It also comes in different scents and 'colors'. So whether you are a blonde or a brunette you are covered, literally, roots and all :) Not only great for in between washes, but in between visits to the hair salon as well. - $8

3. Victoria's Secret So Sexy - I was skeptical of this dry shampoo only because I think bra companies should stick to making bras, but I was surprisingly wrong. It actually works pretty good. It has a little bit of hair spray added to it, so I feel like a VS Supermodel after using it. Okay I said "feel" not "look" like one, you get the idea. A little pricier, but lasts awhile, aka it's worth it. - $14

What are your hall of fame hair products? I would love to hear! Let me know in the comments section below!

  1. I like Nisim shampoo and conditioner. It is for thinning hair, but anyone can use it. It makes hair really shiny. BTW, when you are older, you'll love your naturally oily hair. Mine is still as soft as a child's hair. . . and I'm 58.

Since it needs water after application, most of people find it suitable. Dry shampoo is not harmful for hair, It aid to fascinate the oil and it scents great. It is also useful for the people who have smashed there hair.
