Product Spotlight: St. Ives Collagen Moisturizer

This week's product spotlight goes to one of my ultimate favorite brands: St. Ives Collagen Elastin Moisturizer. I have always been a huge fan of all St. Ives products, especially their lotion. I have really dry skin, and tried countless of lotion brands, but none of them have ever come close to St. Ives. St. Ives keeps you moisturized without leaving you feeling greasy or oily. One of my favorites is their Collagen Elastin line. I actually used this before, during, and after my pregnancy, and I am happy to say I am stretch mark free!! I always wondered when they were going to come out with a moisturizer for your face, and finally they did!

As I was browsing late one night on Pinterest, I came across a pin on this product. I read that Dr. Oz actually recommended this product as the "only facial lotion you will ever need." Hook, line, and sinker. I was on a major search to find this product. Every drugstore, grocery store, and even Target I went to didn't carry it! The only place I found it was at Walmart, and guess how much...  $6!!! Holy bejesus. I died and went to moisturizer heaven. I bought two, and immediately went home to try my new find.

To my happiness, Dr. Oz was right. It not only lived up to, but surpassed any of my expectations. It is a quality lightweight moisturizer that leaves you feeling fresh and clean while filling in fine lines and wrinkles. I know you probably think, at 25 you don't have wrinkles!  But you could be wrong.. Remember I have a child, and everyone ages. Everyone. Not only that but it comes in a 10 oz tub, and for $6 bucks, you can't beat that!

If you have tried this, or any of the St. Ives products, leave a comment below, and let me know if you agree!

  1. You had me at $6! The old tanning bed days have def brought on some older looking skin, can't wait to try this :)

  2. Thanks for the info Jordan. I've been spending $25 for a 1.7oz bottle of another brand moisturizer. Granted, at my age (as you know I'm a grandma) I have no wrinkles. But if I can use a product that does the job for $6? Woot! Count me in! Hugs!

  5. I had to come back to this post to comment about how much I'm loving this moisturizer. When you posted this originally, I happened to be in the market for a new brand. I kinda got stuck in the Clinique trap since.. Oh I don't know... I was 13! I figured it was about time I branch out a little. Now that I'm on my SECOND tub I thought it was about time I came back to thank you for the recommendation. Loving it!!

  7. Folks today appear greater than they did a long time in the past when it comes to aging since with the supplements which might be accessible around the industry that diminish the getting older signs and make your skin more supple.
